Ben is the owner and lead developer of Web Extra, with over 12 years experience in an IT role, covering all aspects of web development. He started off his professional career as a PHP developer building a large CRM application for 3 years at a private company. He then moved to the commercial sector where he used his PHP experience to build custom websites for a web agency. Whilst there, he gained front end experience as well as client relationships, and briefly worked as a business development manager/project manager before deciding to start his own company. Over five years on and the company has now built over 200 websites, 10 custom web applications, and 2 mobile apps.
